Le Club Farret is one of the first campsites in Vias Plage. Since 1956, the Farret and Giner families have been welcoming vacationers from all nationalities and backgrounds. Let's take a look back at the history of a small campsite that has become a reference in outdoor hospitality.
Club Farret is primarily the story of the Farret and Giner families.
It all began in 1956 on the shores of the Mediterranean. Henriette and André Farret created the Farinette Plage campsite. It was a small establishment where life was good, and most vacationers were regulars. No one could yet predict the tourism boom and the success of the family business.
Club Farret is also a story of a meeting, the one between Danielle, the daughter of Henriette and André, and Robert, who was visiting Farinette for the first time. He fell in love with Danielle and the Farret campsite, and he never left.
Self-taught, passionate, and visionary, now at the helm of the business, Robert innovated with rental accommodations, an aquatic complex, opening to foreign clientele, and high-quality services. The Farinette campsite became Club Farret, a modern and high-end camping site that has managed to preserve the authentic, friendly, and family spirit of its beginnings.
In 2007, Robert handed over the camping business to his son, Philippe, who had joined the family enterprise from a young age. For 15 years, he trained alongside his father, working in all departments and holding various positions. He proved himself in every way.
Like father, like son. Philippe brought innovation and took risks to offer an even more intense, unique, and extraordinary experience to his travelers. He developed the concept of themed neighborhoods and took his clients on journeys around the world.
Club Farret has managed to convince people through its pools, services, and accommodations worthy of a 5-star campsite, but above all, thanks to the commitment and passion of the Farret and Giner families. More and more of you are becoming regular clients and joining the large Farret family, and for that, we thank you.
Today, Farret boasts 130 employees (including 30 permanent staff), 692 accommodations, 76,848 nights, and a capacity to accommodate 3,000 people per day. It has been recognized by top European guides and is a model in outdoor hospitality.
